Our ice bowls are made to your individual order and are a real conversation piece rather than a bland cold beverage server. Each bowl is hand crafted for our customers. We can create a bowl that matches the colors or theme of your event. We can incorporate almost any item into the body of our bowls. This can include artificial flowers, pictures, memorabilia, and/or items that coordinate with your decor or favorite colors.
Each bowl is crafted in solid ice, and includes a hygienic plastic liner that prevents dilution or contamination of the beverage or food being served. Each bowl rests on a lighted stand that holds them approximately 6 inches above the table or counter top. (This stand also catches the water produced as the ice melts.) The stand has a skirt that can be color coordinated to match your table layout.
One bowl has a capacity of 7 quarts (almost 2 gallons) of liquid. The basic bowl is octagonal (8 sided) with a diameter of 19 1/2 inches. The bowls are 12 inches tall (not including the stand), and the sides are 4 inches thick. A bowl will last 10-15 hours after it is placed into service. Each bowl weighs about 75 pounds, the stand weighs about 5 pounts. Due to the nature of the bowl (ordinary ice) it cannot be placed in direct sunlight, or be used to serve warm or hot beverages.
The price per bowl starts at $100.00, plus a fully refundable $50.00 deposit for the return of the base, skirt, lamp, and bowl liner. We do need two weeks, after you have approved the items to be included and layout, to create your bowl.
All bowls will be delivered by noon (or other prearranged time) on the day of your event. The bowl will be set up on the base with the lamp, skirt, and liner in place. Delivery is free in the Reno/Sparks, Nevada area. For locations within 60 miles there is a $25.00 service charge. All destinations beyond 60 miles are shipped overnight freight, FOB Reno, Nevada.
